The iconic IB’s in Berkeley first opened its doors in 1991 serving cheesesteaks, burgers, and fries! Family owned and operated, we quickly became a staple in the community, well-known for our delicious flavors and giant portions. For the past two decades, our family has been serving students and our community comfort food with a focus on flavor and quality, quickly becoming a staple restaurant in the East Bay!

IB's works hand-in-hand with UC Berkeley's Athletics department to feed their athletes, as well as many social clubs on campus. In 2017, IB's went through a complete brand transformation. Since then, IB’s has fed and collaborated with Marshawn Lynch, Berner, ALLBLACK & Offset Jim, Kehlani, Juan Tuscano Anderson, and so many more! With a strong focus on Bay Area Culture, we actively team up with many local influencers, athletes, and musicians, to create one-of-a-kind meals.

We are dedicated to maintaining the quality of our classics, while pioneering and creating new modern flavors. We source the freshest ingredients daily in order to bring Bay Area flavor to life with our creative menu!
